Trinity bio: Yoimel Gonzalez Episcopal priest in Washington, D.C. He was born and raised in Cuba and graduated from the Anglican Studies Program at Virginia Theological Seminary in 2019. Since his ordination that same year, he has worked as an associate rector at St. Alban’s Church in Washington, D.C. and as dean of the Diocese of Washington’s Latino Deacons School. Gonzalez has helped transform his diocese’s deacon formation into a bilingual and multicultural program. Under his leadership, the diocese ordained the first three Latino deacons in its history.
