Unlike other Beats headphones, the majority of the buttons are located on the left (apart from the power button which is located on the right). The 'b' logo is located on the left earcup. Pressing it once will play or stop the music. By pressing it twice, you can skip to the next track. By pressing it three times, you can switch back to an earlier track. You can also hold down the logo and turn on the phone's intelligent assistant.

They use a microphone on each earcup to monitor the surroundings, and thanks to the Beats audio processing and Apple's W1 chip the adaptive noise cancellation is always on - without draining your battery.
