Trinity bio: Dr. Selamawit Yeromaw is a medical doctor, nutritionist, and public health professional from Ethiopia currently pursuing a master’s degree in European public health at the University of Sheffield. She has a decade of experience in clinical care, community service, research, and advocacy. She is a Rise Up youth champion, Johnson and Johnson One Young World scholar, Healthcare Leadership Academy scholar, and an alumna of the Young African Leaders Initiative’s East Africa Leadership Center. She is the former president of the Ethiopian Medical Women’s Association and the president of Sheff-WHO, a student-led global health learning simulation. She is a mother, wife, and devout follower of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahdo Church.
