The Rev. Suzanne Smith graduated from the Seminary of the Southwest in Austin, Texas, with a diploma in Anglican studies in May 2018. She was ordained as an Episcopal priest in January 2019, and is now the first female and ninth rector of Grace Episcopal Church in Alvin, Texas. Smith earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and her Master of Divinity degree from Baylor University’s Truett Theological Seminary. Smith is the mother of three boys and enjoys scouts, soccer, and walking her German shorthaired pointer.
