Ne Canada could be part of a distributed, federated network of convenings. In each place, people would try to find the valuable strangers and help them become unlikely allies in the work of creating thriving communities in an economic bioregion that worked for all and that rooted out institutionalized injustice, such as Redlining

I live in a rural community outside the Greater Toronto Area. Although much of our impact investing work has been overseas, we are increasingly being invited to small cities in Ontario to participate in a larger discussion on how to address challenging social and economic issues. The approach Neighborhood Economics has used could be very useful for many of these communities.
