Great ideas!

I would like to see a series of floating trash catchment systems (aka, Litterbooms) placed across several areas of the SR. I suspect we could do this very cheaply, or free, with donations of the needed materials. Here is an example of a PVC pipe laid across a river to direct trash to one side where volunteers can easily bag it up and haul it away.

I'd also like to see an effort to clear the fallen trees crossing the SR in several places. We could probably do this with volunteers and chainsaws though it would be dangerous work. Would we need any special permission from the county to do this?

Based on this video, it looks like we could cut the trees near the base and let them float down the river.
