Julie Lehman has been coming to Montreat Conference Center for youth conferences and church retreats since 1992, when she and husband, Rev. Michael Poulos, began youth ministry. A graduate of Columbia Theological Seminary and Davidson College, Julie served ten years as director of Development and Church Relations at Warren Wilson College and for a time was coordinator for Presbyterians for Earth Care. Julie is currently vice chair of the alumni board of Columbia Seminary and chair of the board of [[MountainTrue]] , a regional organization working to protect the natural environment of Western North Carolina. She is married to Rev. Michael Poulos and enjoys spending time with her two growing children and two dogs at their home in East Asheville.
